When accessing the event before the start time, you will end up in the waiting room. However, event hosts can open their event for Early Access up to 5 months before it’s live so you can engage with other attendees and get ready for an event. This guide give an overview of the attendee experience during Early Access.

Early Access access email
You may receive the Early Access invitation email once the event doors open with a personalized Magic Link to access the event. This how the default Early Access invite email looks like (if not customized by the event host):
Attendee experience during Early Access
During Early Access, you won’t be able to access most of the event areas yet, but the Reception and Networking areas as well as many engagement features will be at your disposal.
Note: The attendee experience during the Early Access depend on the event setup. Some of the event areas and functionalities listed below may be disabled by your event host.
Reception area
The Reception area is a great place to get familiar with the event and get oriented. The Reception displays the welcome message, sponsors, speakers, schedule and integrated apps.
Networking area
In the Networking area, you can browse through Recommended connections to connect with others and participate in Speed Networking. For more information on how to make the most from the Networking area, refer to our guide on Navigating through Networking area.
Schedule
The event schedule is displayed in the Reception area and can be accessed via the Schedule modal linked to the event venue header. You can add segments to you calendar or My agenda as well as book seats in Onsite schedule segments.
Pre-event 1:1 meetings
You can exchange direct messages as well as schedule and hold 1:1 meetings before the event starts.
Audience engagement
You can participate in event wide Chat, Q&A and Polls in the right side activity panel.
