This guide explains how to check attendees into and out of your onsite event, as well as how to add a walk-in registration using the RingCentral Events Organizer mobile app.
Note: Only registrants with a hybrid or onsite ticket type will be visible in the Organizer app and can be checked in.
Checking attendees in and out
Manually
Locate the attendee on the list and tap Check in. Similarly, if the attendee is checked in, tap Check out to check them out.
Tip: Use the search bar at the top to search by first name, last name, or email.
With their QR code
Tap Scan QR to scan the QR code with your camera.
Once you have scanned the QR code, there are 3 possible screens you will see:
- Green: The attendee is successfully checked in.
- Orange: The attendee has already been checked in.
- Red: If the QR code is invalid.
Onsite registration: Adding a walk-in
To register a "walk-in" attendee:
- Tap Add Attendee.
- In the Attendee details, select a ticket type.
Note: Adding walk-ins is supported for free hybrid/onsite ticket types only. You will not see your virtual and/or paid tickets on this list.
- Enter their name and email address.
- Complete the custom registration form if available.
- Tap Add Attendee once again.
✔ The attendee will receive a registration confirmation email with their QR code.
Tip: You can also add walk-ins while being offline. All data captured offline will be stored locally on the mobile device until an internet connection is restored.
