This guide explains how to connect a printer and enable auto-print in the RingCentral Events Organizer mobile app.
Tip: Instead of printing your badges automatically during check-in, you can export them in as a PDF file.
Connecting a printer
To connect a printer:
- Tap the Menu icon and go to Devices.
- Tap Select Printer.
- Select the printer brand (Zebra or Browser) or the option to use PrintGateway.
- Your device will automatically scan for nearby devices and begin the pairing process.
Tip: If possible, connect your device to your printer via a cable to ensure a stable connection.Important: The device running the RingCentral Events Organizer app MUST be on the same internet connection as the printer. If the Organizer App is not connecting to the printer, please verify that both devices are connected to the same network and that no security settings are blocking network communication between them.
Turning on auto-print
To automatically print badges when scanning a QR code or completing a check-in in the kiosk mode:
- Tap the Menu icon and go to Event settings.
- Toggle on the option for Auto print.
