Deleting Sessions

This guide explains how to delete Sessions individually and in bulk. 

Tip: To edit multiple Sessions in bulk, refer to our guide on Editing Sessions in bulk.

Important notes:

  • Deleting a Session removes all associated recordings. They cannot be recovered once deleted.
  • You can delete attendee-created Sessions the same way. To prevent attendees from creating Sessions, go to Event Dashboard > Venue > Venue Controls and disable this option. To learn more, refer to our guide on Allowing attendees to create Sessions in an event.

Deleting a single Session

To delete a single Session:

  1. Go to to Event Dashboard > Venue > Sessions (or to Event Dashboard > Content > Sessions for Onsite events).
  2. Hover over the Session listing. 
  3. Click the Bin icon.


  4. You will be prompted to confirm your choice. Select the I wish to delete associated recordings check box and click Delete.

Deleting Sessions in bulk

To delete Sessions in bulk:

  1. Go to to Event Dashboard > Venue > Sessions (or to Event Dashboard > Content > Sessions for Onsite events).
  2. Select Sessions you would like to delete using the check boxes next to each listing. To select all Sessions, select the check box in the top left corner.
  3. Once selected, click Delete.


  4. You will be prompted to confirm your choice. Select the I wish to delete associated recordings check box and click Delete.
