Creating a new Session inside the Schedule

To save you time when building your event, you can now create a new Session directly when creating your schedule. This means that you can build new Sessions into your schedule without having to go back and forth between the different areas of your Event Dashboard. Simply create a new Session and then edit it later! 

  • To create a new Session within the Table View, simply create a new segment and select Sessions under "Segment Type." 

    Next, under "Virtual Space" type in the name of the new Session and click Create.

    This will open a new panel where you can enter the Title and the Description of your new Session and hit Save.

    Create the rest of your Schedule as normal, but be sure to adjust any additional settings for the Session in your Event Dashboard > Venue > Sessions, before your event goes live.

  • Creating a new schedule segment or editing an existing one in Calendar view will open a new panel on the right hand side of your screen.

    From the drop down menu under "Segment Type" select Session.

    In the drop down box to the right, you will see your current Sessions as well as an option to Create new.

    Clicking Create new will open a new panel where you can enter the Title and the Description of your new Session and hit Save.

    Create the rest of your Schedule as normal, but be sure to adjust any additional settings for the Session in your Event Dashboard > Venue > Sessions, before your event goes live.

    Note: You can only link one Session to each schedule segment at a time and will need to create additional schedule segments if you want to link multiple Sessions. However, you can connect the same Session to multiple schedule segments.
