Editing tags and speakers in the schedule

Showcasing your speakers and adding tags to your schedule helps your audience navigate through the content easily. This guide explains how to edit tags and speakers in bulk to save time and how to rearrange their order. 

Editing tags and speakers in bulk

To edit tags and speakers in the schedule segments in bulk:

  1. Go to Event Dashboard > Venue > Schedule in a multi-track event or Event Dashboard > Setup > Schedule in a Webinar event.
  2. Select which segments you would like to edit using the check boxes next to each segment. To select all segments, select the check box in the top left corner. This option is available in both table and calendar view.

  3. Click Edit.


  4. Select bulk edit item: either Speakers or Tags.
  5. Select bulk edit option:
    • Replace all with: will remove existing speakers/tags and replace them with your new selection.
    • Add to existing: will add new speakers/tags to the existing ones.
    • Find and remove: will remove the specific speakers/tags. 
  6. Select one of the existing speakers/tags from the drop-down or enter a new one and click Add.


  7. If adding a new Speaker, in the new panel window, fill in your speaker details, create their profile, or choose to register them for the event at the same time. For more information, refer to our guide on Adding speakers.


  8. Click Save.

Rearranging tags and speakers

Once you have added your tags and speakers to your schedule, you can rearrange them so that they display in the correct order. Go to Event Dashboard > Venue > Schedule in a multi-track event or Event Dashboard > Setup > Schedule in a Webinar event. Here you can use the table or calendar view.

  • In the Table view, your schedule is presented in the table format.

    1. Select Table from the toggle at the top of the page.
    2. Locate a schedule segment you'd like to edit.
    3. Scroll to the right to find the Speakers/Tags field and click on it. 
    4. To remove a speaker or a tag, unselect it.
    5. To rearrange, click Reorder.

    6. In the segment settings, drag and drop the speakers and into the desired order.

    7. Once ready, click Save.
  • In the Calendar view, your schedule is displayed in the daily schedule format.

    1. Select Calendar from the toggle at the top of the page. 
    2. Locate a schedule segment you'd like to edit.
    3. Click on the Menu icon ••• and select Edit.


    4. In the segment settings, drag and drop the speakers and into the desired order. 
    5. To remove a tag or a speaker, click the Cross icon x.


    6. Once ready, click Save.

Now, tags and speakers will be displayed in the correct order when viewing the schedule on the Landing page or in the schedule within the event.
