What are the capabilities of the Ai-Media app?
- Captions appear as text alongside your video and represent the speech, narration and sounds that occur throughout. This allows for quality human generated live captions in English and multi-language.
This app is currently only available within the Stage and Session areas of RingCentral.
What attendee data is shared between the Ai Media app and RingCentral?
RingCentral and the Ai Media app do not share any attendee data between them.
What plans is the Ai Media app available on?
This app is available to all paid RingCentral plans.
How do I set up the Ai-Media app?
You’ll need an Ai-Media license and will need to schedule the time at which you’d like captions delivered.
You can request a quote from Ai-Media here.
To get started, you will need to install the Ai-Media app to your RingCentral Organization. You can access the app store by going to your Organization Dashboard and heading to the Apps tab. Then click on Discover More on App Store.
You can find Ai-Media under the Translation category. Click Install app to add the Ai-Media app to your Organization.
Next, you will receive a Session ID via a confirmation email from the Ai-Media team
Head back to your RingCentral event and go to your Event Dashboard > Venue > Stage/Session and choose the Stage or Session you would like to add the Ai-Media App to.
Scroll down to the "Apps" section and fill in the fields using the Session ID you received from the Ai-Media app. Make sure you check the box under "Enabled".
Click Save and your attendees will see the Ai-Media tab within the specified Stage or Session of your event.
