How do I set up the Capsule app?

What are the capabilities of the Capsule app?
- Connect attendees with video-based networking that makes everyone look like a pro.
- Drive marketing impressions with branded videos collected from attendees, speakers and staff.
- Collect video responses for Q&A sessions or to gather feedback from guests.
This app is currently only available within the App area of RingCentral.
What plans is the Capsule app available on?
This app is available to all paid RingCentral plans.
What attendee data is shared between the Capsule app and RingCentral?
Hopin and the Capsule app do not share any attendee data between them.
How do I set up the Capsule app?
You’ll need a Capsule account to use this app. Check out their pricing plans here.
To get started, you will need to install the Capsule app to your RingCentral Organization. You can access the App Store by going to your Organization Dashboard and heading to the Apps tab. Then click on Discover More on App Store.
You can find Capsule under the Fun & Games category. Click Install app to add the Capsule app to your Organization.
Next, navigate to your Capsule account and get the public URL of your Capsule and paste it into a text editor.
You will need to find the Widget ID. This field is in bold in the example below.

Make a note of this Widget ID.
Next, head back to your RingCentral event and go to your Event Dashboard > Venue > App. Next, follow the steps below.
- Select Capsule as the App for the area.
- Input the Widget ID you obtained above.
- Rename the tab by typing in the "Menu Label" field.
Click Save and your attendees will see the App area in the panel on the left hand side of your event.
