This guide explains how to use Kahoot! and Slido apps within the RingCentral Events Attendee mobile app.
Note for Organizers: To enable Kahoot! and Slido in your event, you need to install the apps for your Organization and then configure them in your Reception, Session, Stage or Booth settings. For detailed steps, refer to our guides Integrating Slido and Integrating Kahoot!. Other integrations won't be accessible via the Attendee app.
Using Slido in the app
Slido is a tool that enhances audience interaction through Q&As, polls, and surveys. Slido can be added to the activity panel in various event areas such as Stages, Sessions, and Expo Booths, as well as event-wide:
- In the activity panel, go to the Slido tab (the tab name might differ if customized in the event settings).
- Here you can toggle between the Polls tab and the Q&A tab. If no polls are currently active, you will see a button that says Go to Q&A.
- For active polls, select your answer and press Send.
- Tap the Profile icon in the top right corner to sign in/out, edit your profile, or review questions you have asked.
Using Kahoot! in the app
Kahoot! is a game-based learning tool used to create interactive trivia quizzes. In a Stage, Session or Expo Booth, the Organizer can screen share a Kahoot! game, allowing you to participate and vote directly in the activity panel without leaving the app:
- In the activity panel, go to the Kahoot! tab (the tab name might differ if customized in the event settings).
- Enter the Game PIN shared by the Organizer and tap Enter.
- Enter your username.
- You will be placed in a waiting room until the game begins.
- Once the game begins, the options will appear in the tab. Tap one of the options to submit your vote.
Note: If you’re in a Session room, you’ll need to navigate between the live broadcast and the Session activities panel to view the game and cast your vote.
