Integrating Walls.io with RingCentral Events

This guide explains how to install the Walls.io app on your Organization account and add it to your event for displaying social media content.

What is Walls.io?

Walls.io is a social wall solution that allows you to collect, curate, and display content from multiple social media platforms or let your audience post content directly on your wall. Walls.io offers several paid plans and a free trial. 

How does the integration work?

The Walls.io social wall can be embedded into the activity panel of a Stage, Session, Expo Booth, or Reception enabling attendees to engage with social media content within RingCentral Events without leaving the platform.

Installing Walls.io

To install the Wall.io app on your Organization account: 

1. In your Organization Dashboard, go to the Apps tab.
2. Click Discover More on App Store.
   
   
   
3. In the App store, you can find Funvitity under the Social media category.
   
   
   
4. On the Wall.io page, click Install app.
   ✔  You'll be prompted to confirm your choice. Click Install to continue.
   

Adding Walls.io to your event

• In a multi-track event, Walls.io can be added to the Reception page and to each Stage, Session and Expo Booth individually.

  1. In the Event Dashboard, navigate to your Reception settings or to the settings of the specific Stage, Session or Expo Booth to which you'd like to add the app.
  2. Scroll down to the Apps section.
  3. Under Walls.io, select the Enabled check box.
  4. Enter the tab name (e.g. it can be Social Wall or anything else).
  5. Enter the Social Wall ID.
     Note: Your Social Wall ID can be copied from your wall URL. 
     
  6. Once ready, click Save.

• In a Webinar event, there is a single activity panel due to the singular virtual space, either Stage or Session. To add Walls.io to your Webinar event:

  1. Go to Event Dashboard > Setup > Basics. 
  2. Scroll down to the Apps section.
  3. Toggle Walls.io on.
  4. Enter the tab name (e.g. it can be Social Wall or anything else).
  5. Enter the Social Wall ID.
     Note: Your Social Wall ID can be copied from your wall URL. 
     
  6. Once ready, click Save.

Can I integrate multiple walls from Walls.io?

Yes, you can integrate different social walls across your event. For example, each Stage, Session, Expo Booth, or the Reception page can have a unique social wall with its own Social Wall ID.
