This guide explains how to install the vSpace app on your Organization account and add it to your event.

What is Validar?

Validar offers multiple tools for onsite registration, attendee behavior tracking, and lead management. There is an additional cost to using the Validar integration that depends on a variety of event-specific factors.

How does the integration work?

vSpace is a leaderboard and analytics tool for virtual and hybrid events, which allows you to gamify your events and retrieve detailed attendee-level engagement data which can be embedded into your event marketing and sponsorship strategy.

Validar's vSpace product has three components, some or all of which can be embedded into the activity panel of a Stage, Session, Expo Booth, or Reception:

  1. EventHub: An evaluation tool that can be embedded in any area of the event. It displays surveys based on the attendee behavior in the event.
  2. vCapture: A lead capture tool that can be embedded in an Expo Booth to drive lead generation for sponsors.
  3. Leaderboard: An engagement tool that incentivizes attendees to take organizer-defined actions within the event to score points and win rewards.

vCapture and Leaderboard will have their own URLs that need to be configured in all relevant event areas. EventHub is also configured in any relevant event areas but does not require a URL as RingCentral receives that data from Validar.

Installing Validar

To install the vSpace by Validar app on your Organization account:

  1. In your Organization Dashboard, go to the Apps tab.
  2. Click Discover More on App Store.

  3. In the App store, you can find Picture Mosaics under the Fun & Games category.

  4. On the vSpace by Validar page, click Install app.
✔  You'll be prompted to confirm your choice. Click Install to continue.

Adding Validar to your event

  • In a multi-track event, Validar is enabled for Reception and for each Stage, Session and Expo Booth individually. To add Validar to your multi-track event:

    1. In the Event Dashboard, navigate to your Reception settings or to the settings of the specific Stage, Session or Expo Booth to which you'd like to add the Validar app.
    2. Scroll down to the Apps section.
    3. Under vSpace by Validar, enter the tab name (e.g. it can be anything).
    4. Select the embed type: EventHub, Leaderboard or vCapture.
    5. For Leaderboard and vCapture, enter the Validar URL.
Important: Do not enter a URL for EventHub. Validar will let you know when they have set up EventHub for your event and only at that point will it be ready to be previewed.
    6. Once ready, click Save.
  • In a Webinar event, there is a single activity panel due to the singular virtual space, either Stage or Session. To add Validar to your Webinar event:

    1. Go to Event Dashboard > Setup > Basics

Disconnecting Validar

To remove the Validar integration from the event, navigate to the relevant event area settings in the Event Dashboard and remove the added URL. Alternatively, go to the Apps tab in your Organization Dashboard to uninstall the Validar integration for the whole Organization.
