This guide explains how to install the KUDO on your Organization account and add it to your event for simultaneous translation.
What is Kudo?
KUDO proives audio and caption translation services and supports 200+ spoken and sign languages. KUDO has a network of 10,000+ world-class interpreters. You need a paid license to use this app. Refer to the KUDO website to get a quote.
How does the integration work?
KUDO can be embedded into the activity panel of a Stage, Session or Expo Booth to enable audio interpretations of your presentations and workshops. Attendees will be able to select one of the available languages and hear the translated speed in real time.
Important notes:
- Kudo integration is only supported on the desktop device. Attendees will not be able to access it in the Attendee app or in the mobile browser.
- Attendees need to manually mute stage audio to be able to clearly hear the translation (if they do not, they will get both the original audio and the translated audio over the top of each other).
