As an organizer, you can create registration widgets that allow you to embed your event's registration form on other websites for attendees to use.

Attendees can complete the registration process entirely via the widget, without ever needing to go to your landing page on the RingCentral Events website.

Creating a registration widget

  1. To create a widget, visit the Event Dashboard > Registrations > Event Landing Page. Under Add Ons, click Configure in the Embedded Registration Form section, which will open up a new page for you to set up and manage your registration widgets.
  2. When you land on the configuration page, click Create widget, which will open up a side panel.
  3. Give your widget a name and specify the tickets you want to include. This is particularly useful when you need to embed the registration form to specific tickets on your website. Click the checkbox next to Include all tickets? if you'd like to have all tickets displayed in the widget.
Note: When including all tickets, private tickets will also appear in the widget. To prevent this, it's necessary to exclude the private ticket from the widget and share it separately.

Check the Enabled box to enable it and click Save.

You’ll now see your new registration form widget saved in the list of widgets.

Embedding a registration widget

If you’re ready to embed the widget on your site, go to the Event Dashboard > Registrations > Event Landing Page > Configure and click the edit icon for the respective widget. This again will open the form to which you’ll see a few snippets of code at the bottom.

The first snippet of code is the CSS. You’ll copy and paste this into your website's <head />. We should note that while this part of the code isn’t required, we strongly suggest using it to ensure the widget layout looks great on your site.

The last snippet of the code is the HTML markup. This is required, and you’ll need to paste this in the <body /> of your website, wherever you’d like the widget to appear.

Once embedded, you should see the ticket selector like this on your website:
