Echo in Sessions or Stage

Echo and audio distortion typically happens while having the stream playing back on the same device used for streaming. In other words, if you have more than one RingCentral tab or window open, it could be feeding the sound back into itself.

This effect can be annoying and may also end up in the recordings of the event. 

To solve the issue:

  • You can make use of headphones to eliminate the echo. This will lower the chance of the microphone capturing unnecessary sounds.
  • Ensure you have only one Session or Stage tab open. If you must have more than one tab open, mute the other tabs.
