There are various reasons why you may need to delete an event, such as it being a test event that is no longer needed or the cancellation of a primary event. This guide explains how to delete an event on RingCentral Events.
Important: It's not possible to delete an event with registered attendees. To proceed, you will have to manually remove registrants from the Event Dashboard > People > Registrants page first. To remove a registrant, you need to both block and refund them. For detailed steps, refer to our guide Removing, blocking and refunding registrants.
There are two ways you can delete your event:
- In your Organization Dashboard, hover over the chosen event and click the Bin icon.
✔ You will be prompted to confirm your choice. Click Delete Event to continue.
- In the Event Dashboard, click the Menu icon ••• next to your event name and select Delete Event.
