In a multi-track event, attendees can have instant or scheduled 1:1 meetings with each other. This option is enabled by default. This guide explains how to disable this option for all attendees or specific ticket types.

To disable 1:1 meetings for attendees:

  1. Go to Event Dashboard > Venue > Venue Controls (or to Event Dashboard > Setup > Access and settings for Onsite events).
  2. Under Attendee actions and privacy, toggle off the following options:
    • Schedule meetings: Attendees can schedule and view meetings with each other on their agenda.
    • Instant video call: Attendees can start one-on-one instant video calls with each other.
  3. To disable the option for specific ticket types, select Exclude ticket types checkbox and add the ticket types that apply.
  4. Click Save.

When these options are disabled, attendees will not see the Invite to video call and Schedule a meeting options in the People tab.

Warning: Configure attendee actions and privacy before opening your registration to ensure the settings are applied correctly. Excluding certain ticket types from attendee actions will not apply to existing registrants.
Note: These attendee actions do not overlap with the Networking area and Speed Networking.
