Event Analytics Overview Page

  • Updated

The analytics on the Overview page of your Event Dashboard contains a summary of the most important data of your event. At first glance, it may look intimidating, but this guide will help you understand each data point.

Note: Some analytics may be affected if Attendees and Organizers are using ad blockers.

How do you access it?

You can access it by clicking on the Overview page in the Event Dashboard.

Before the event

Before your event begins, your Overview page should have the following modules.

  • The number of created Sessions and Booths in your event
  • Registrants: This displays a graph of the progression of registrations for your event over time. On the right, you have the names of the most recent registrants
  • Top Countries and Ticket sales by type: Here, you can see the top countries by the number of registrations as well as the number of registrants according to ticket type.

During the event

Note: Active users are counted every minute from the start time to the end time of the event. Your analytics page will not automatically reload. Please refresh the page to gather updated analytics.

During your event, your analytics will look a bit different with these modules:

  • Attendees: The total number of attendees for your event
  • Attendees score: The average attendee score given in the event surveys
  • Average time spent: The average time spent by attendees
  • Turnout: The turnout percentage of registrants who have showed up for the event up until the time at which the data is viewed
  • Peak attendance: The peak attendance of the highest number of attendees active at one time
  • Number of live attendees and registrants: A graph showing the number of registrations and active attendees at certain points of time throughout the event, compared to the number of registrants for the event.
  • Top areas by chat messages: This shows the segments of your event with the most chat messages.
  • Top areas by attendees: This shows the most visited areas within your event as well as the number of attendees that visited.

  • Top countries/region by registrants: Top countries or regions with the most number of registrants. Note that this data is pulled automatically from IP data. If you want more specific location information, you should use a custom registration form question, which will not be reflected in your Analytics.
  • Most live attendees by minutes spent: The names of the most active Attendees during the event.
  • Top attendees by expo booths interaction: This displays the Attendees with the highest number of interactions in Expo Booths.

If you're on Business or Enterprise plan, you'll have access to the Live Analytics dashboard in the Event Dashboard > Analytics > Live Analytics. Here you can get an overview of how many attendees participated in your event at a time.
