Changing event language

English is the default language for all events hosted on RingCentral Events. If you're hosting an event for a local group or multi-lingual audience, there are a couple of options you can consider to change your event language. This guide explains how to change the event display language and customize text labels.

Changing event display language

Attendees as well as Organizers have the option to adjust the event interface language to the one they speak or know best (this does not change the language of the custom content created by you as an Organizer and other attendees). Supported languages include:

  • Dutch
  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Polish
  • Portuguese
  • Spanish

Tip: To instruct your audience on how to change the event display language, share our dedicated guide on Changing event display language with them.

Important: The option to change the event display language is not available if you have customized text labels.

To change the language in the event venue:

  1. Click the Profile icon and select languages.
  2. Select your preferred language and click Save.
✔ The event interface will appear in a new language automatically.

Customizing text labels

If you need a language that is not supported as an event display language or you want your event to appear in a specific language by default (without requiring attendees to change the event display language), you can customize the interface labels to align with your brand or target audience.

To customize text labels, go to Event Dashboard > More > Customize Text. For more information, refer to our guide on Customizing text labels.

Warning: Customizing text labels fields disables the interface language selector. Your attendees will no longer have the option to change the event language. To re-enable the language selector, you can reset all custom text fields.
