Canceling RingCentral Events plan

  • Updated

This guide explains how to cancel your self-served RingCentral Events 100, 500, or 1000 subscription.

Note: If your subscription is sales-led, it will automatically cancel at the end of your existing contract. No action is needed on your part. Contact your account manager to learn more about your contract.

Tip: To transition to our new used-based Pro, Pro+, or Enterprise plan, allowing unlimited registrations and attendees, schedule a call with our Sales team via the contact form on our website.

 To cancel your plan:

  1. Sign in to your RingCentral Events account.
  2. Click the Profile icon and select your Organization from the list.
  3. In the Organization Dashboard, click the Profile icon. In the drop-down, click Manage organization.

  4. Go to the Billing tab and click Manage Subscription.

  5. In the Stripe Dashboard, click Cancel plan.

  6. Double-check the status of your subscription. You should be able to see the cancellation date and the Renew plan option.

Note: Canceling the plan schedules the cancellation of your subscription for the end of your billing cycle. When you reach the end of your billing cycle, the subscription will not be renewed, and your plan will become expired. It's advisable to download all the data before canceling.
  • Upcoming events will be converted to the Draft status. When upgrading to a new subscription plan, your events can be published again.
  • Existing registrations will become inaccessible. However, after upgrading to a new subscription plan, the Speakers, Registrants, and Magic link areas can be accessed again.
  • Past events can be duplicated, but the duplicates cannot be published.
  • You can access past events to view recordings or analytics up to 30 days after the event's end date.
