To control attendees participating on-screen with video and/or audio, you can create a moderated Session. This guide explains how to assign a moderator to a Session or a Booth and what the attendee and moderator experience will be like.

Important notes:

In addition to allowing participants to join the screen, assigned Moderators have the following permissions in their Session or Expo Booth:

  • Mute a Speaker for all attendees.
  • Remove a Speaker from the screen.
  • Create polls.
  • Answer and moderate Q&A.
  • Switch between the live Session and the fallback provider in the Expo Booth Session if the fallback provider is enabled by the Organizer or Invited Exhibitor.
  • Create breakout rooms and use other engagement features.

For more information on other permissions, refer to our guide Moderators: Moderating a Session or an Expo Booth.
