Attendee experience

In a moderated Session, attendees see a blue button that says Ask to Share Audio and Video. They must click this button to be added to the queue for moderators to then add attendees on-screen.

Moderator experience

When an attendee requests to go on-screen, the moderation toolbar button will display a red tag with the number of requests. To approve or decline these requests, moderators will need to click on the moderation toolbar and go to Moderation

Once the attendee is added on-screen, they can select their AV devices and will be on camera shortly. Moderators and Organizers can click on the Menu icon ••• on their video card to remove them. Once removed, attendees can join the screen again at any time without waiting for approval.

Note: In addition to allowing participants to join the screen, assigned Moderators have the ability to:

  • Mute a Speaker for all attendees on a Moderated Session or Expo Session.
  • Create Polls for a Moderated Session or Expo Session.
  • Toggle Fallback provider on the Expo Session if the fallback provider is enabled by Organization admin, Event admin, or Invited Exhibitor (applies to muti-track events only).
  • Answer Q&A in their assigned Sessions.
