This guide explains how to add background music in the RingCentral Events Studio.
Important notes:
- There are 5 pre-defined music options. You can also upload multiple audio files.
- You can add multiple music tracks to the Studio panel.
- Music will auto-play and loop when brought to the screen.
- When playing background music, you can use 2 pre-defined volume levels.
- Music tag and volume will fade in and out when brought and removed from the screen.
- Music is also played when the stage is empty and not yet live. You can bring a track to the screen before going live or during breaks for waiting music.

Playing background music
To play background music on stage, hover over the music track in the Stage tab and click Bring to screen.
Once brought to the screen, the track will loop until removed. Music share does not appear as a video tile but as a floating button in the upper left corner. Hover over the content tile in the Host panel to choose from 2 pre-defined volume levels.
If the music track is no longer needed in the Studio, hover over the content tile, click the Menu icon, and click Remove from studio. To change the internal name of the uploaded track, click the Menu icon and click Rename.
