Stopping a simulive segment
A simulive segment will automatically start playing at the scheduled time.
Warning: A simulive schedule segment cannot be edited or rescheduled once it's live.
To manually end the segment before the scheduled end time:
- Navigate to your Stage or Session in the event venue.
- Click Stop Simulive.
Note: The Stop Simulive button is only visible for admin users. Attendees will not see this option.
- You will be asked to confirm your choice. Click Stop Simulive once again.
✔ It may take several seconds before the video gets removedNote: This action cannot be undone. You will not be able to resume your simulive segment once it's stopped.
Overriding a simulive segment
You can also override your simulive segment with a broadcast from the StreamYard backstage (applies to Stage only) or RTMP stream (applies to both Stage and Session).
Publishing a simulive segment to Replay
Simulive segments are not recorded like Stage or Session broadcasts. When uploading a simulive video from the schedule, it will be listed under My Uploads on the Recordings page. Currently, videos under My Uploads stay not associated with any specific segments and cannot be published to the Replay area. As a workaround, re-upload the video and link it to a Stage/Session or a specific scheduled item and then they will be able to publish it.
