If you're having trouble joining an event hosted on our platform, follow these steps to resolve the issue and access the event venue.
Note: You can access an event you're registered for via a personalized Magic Link, by signing in to your user account or via the Attendee app. To learn more about each of these methods, refer to our guide Attendees: Accessing an event.
Ensure you have a ticket for the event
Confirm you are registered for the event and have received the registration confirmation email from no-reply@events.ringcentral.com. If you're unsure, refer to our guides on Registering for an event and Receiving a Magic Link invitation.
Tip: Your registration confirmation email should contain a personalized Magic Link. Clicking this will automatically sign you in and take you to the event.
Note: If the registration email comes from another platform, the event host may be selling tickets elsewhere. In this case, contact the event host directly to confirm they've added your registration to RingCentral Events.
Sign in to the correct RingCentral events account
Ensure you're signed into the user account associated with the event registration. You can view all registered events on your Profile Dashboard. For more information, refer to our guide Signing in to your RingCentral Events (formerly Hopin) account.
Note: If your account was created automatically during registration, you don't have a standard password associated with your account. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your email each time you sign in.
Check your browser
Ensure you're using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge (chromium version on Windows 10 and above only) and it is updated to the latest version.
Tip: Try a different supported browser. For example, if you're using Chrome, use Firefox to access RingCentral Events.
Check your network
If you're joining from a workplace or a corporate device, firewall restrictions might be in place. Ask your IT team to follow our guide on Networking connectivity settings to ensure that you can access RingCentral Events.
Tip: For a quick solution, switch to a personal device and network.
Check event start and end times
Ensure you're trying to access the event within its specified live hours. Event timings are listed on the event landing page or in your registration confirmation email. If the event allows early access or post-event recordings, note that these may have limited functionality. For more information, refer to our guides Early Access: Accessing an event before the start time and Attendees: Accessing post-event recordings.
Still having issues?
If you've confirmed that your registration email is correct, but the Magic Link doesn't work, or you don't see the event listed in your account, contact the event organizer. They may have blocked or removed your registration or the event may have been canceled.
