Managing event visibility

After publishing your multi-track event, you can begin promoting it by sharing your landing page and letting your audience to register. Depending on your requirements, you might want to restrict your event landing page from search engines or implement a password protection.

Navigate to the Event Dashboard > Setup > Basics page to find the event visibility settings, offering three options: hidden, public, and private.

Hidden events are accessible solely through a link or invitation and are not indexed by search engines.

Public events are searchable and indexed by search engines.

Note: To change a sharing snippet that appears in the search engine for your event, go to your Event Dashboard > Marketing > Sharing and Tracking and customize your text under Sharing Snippet.

Private events are secured with a password, ideal for test events or events with restricted access for privacy. They are not indexed by search engines.

When opting for the private event setting, you'll need to create and set up a password:
