How to change a layout in a Session

Screen layouts provide a convenient method to personalize and tailor the screen setup, enhancing attendee engagement and directing their focus toward specific content.

When you are within your Session, as an Organizer or a Session Moderator, you will see the moderation toolbar at the bottom left of your screen. Click on the button to open the menu with options, choose Layouts to select the preferred display option. There are five pre-set screen layouts available for Sessions.

Group layout 

The group layout is a default layout. Here is how this layout looks like without and with a screen share:

 

Crop layout 

In the Crop layout, video tiles are cropped to occupy less screen space. This option is recommended when there are many speakers on screen. Here is how this layout looks like without and with a screen share:

Spotlight Speaker Layout

In the Spotlight Speaker Layout, the active speaker's tile is larger than others'. This will help the audience to follow an active discussion by focusing on the current speaker. Here is how this layout looks like without and with a screen share:

Picture-in-Picture Layout 

In the Picture-in-Picture layout, video tiles of the speakers overlay the screen share. Without a screen share, this layout looks the same as the group layout. Here is how it looks like with a screen share:  

Cinema Layout

All video tiles are removed in the Cinema layout, while speakers retain their sharing permissions. Without a screen share, this layout looks the same as the group layout. Here is how it looks like with a screen share:
