This guide explains how to change the ticket type associated with a registration in the Event Dashboard.
Tip: When hosting a Hybrid or Onsite event, you can change the ticket type in the Organizer app. To learn more, refer to our guide Organizer app: Managing attendee details.
Important notes:
- The registrant will be still able to use the same Magic Link to access the event.
- There will be no confirmation emails sent out either to you or the registrant.
- The ticket will still have the same price or will stay free. You will need to issue the refund or issue a charge for the new ticket manually from Stripe if applicable.
To change the ticket type associated with the registration:
- Go to Event Dashboard > Registration > Registrants.
- Use the search bar and filter option to find your registrant.

Hover over the selected registrant, click the Menu icon ••• and select See details.
- In the Registration details window, click Edit details.
- Under Ticket type, select a different ticket type.
- Once ready, click Save.
Note: If you've created a custom registration form, go to Form answers and ensure all required questions are filled in to be able to save the changes.
